This weekend we went to the
Formula 1
British Grand Prix at Silverstone!
Edmund was very excited to have the race get started!

There were a lot of people there but we found a spot for our blanket and had a pretty good view of the race!
If you can see past the other spectators you can see a car, it's Lewis Hamilton on his final lap!
And this is Lewis Hamilton as he drives his victory lap!!!
Did we mention that the forecast called for 0% chance of rain... well, we were slightly glad that the weather changed it's mind because the sun was getting quite warm, but with about 10 laps out of 52, the clouds rolled in and with about 5 laps to go the clouds let loose and secured the victory for Hamilton! And we were glad that we packed our umbrellas, which we had brought to shade us from the sun but nonetheless, we were glad to have them when the rain came down!
The clouds cleared up
almost immediately after the race was over!
After the race is over and the officials say it is safe, spectators can go out on the race track!

We decided to splurge and get some gear to show others who our favorite team is: Mercedes!
