Happy New Year 2-0-1-9!!!

Hey folks, it's hard to believe that another year has come and gone and we find ourselves in a new year! Welcome to 2019! Most of our upcoming year is up in the air as we are likely to receive a new assignment for Edmund's military career sometime soon which in turn will have us packing up our home and making our way to where Uncle Sam sends us! In the meantime, we will continue to trust the Lord and seek His Will for our family.

A lot has happened since I last posted so let's back track a bit....

September:
We were able to take a little weekend getaway to Aspen and Glenwood Springs, CO.
We were so blessed to see some beautiful sights and started to feel the cool Fall/Winter weather!
The boys fell asleep before getting to Maroon Bells
so Edmund and I were able to hop out of the car and grab a selfie!

We continued our trend of staying at KOA Kabins this year!

 October:
We started out the month of October with a visit from Edmund's cousin Nicki and her family! Matthias enjoyed having some playmates around for a few days!

Later in the month we were able to go check out a
pumpkin patch and were blessed with lots of sunshine.

Corn pit, wagon rides, horses and lots of pumpkins!

Then we got to dress up for the trunk or treat...

Then another October adventure had has on the road to Austin, TX
We stayed at the KOA Kabin in Lubbock on our way there...
Destination: F1 Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas

It was a muddy adventure as Texas was experiencing lots of rain....

 So muddy!!!!

 Basically... worst camping trip ever!

But it was a fun race and we really enjoyed our time in Texas!

But we were very ready to leave at the end of the race.

The sun came out for the last day!

November:
Then we took a break for the month of November to prepare for Christmas and the holiday season! We had lots of fun in the month of December with both the Winn and Ward families coming to visit! I'll make separate posts for those since there are lots of pictures!

 Decorating for Christmas!!!!
