Fish N' Chips Adventure #1
After a long afternoon of househunting
we decided to walk off base and go the Bird in Hand Restaurant
for a classic English meal of Fish N' Chips!
After taking the above not so successful "selfie" picture
a very kind woman offered to take a photo of us =)
Just in case you were wondering what this giant feast included: battered sausage, battered scampi, buttered roll, "tartare" sauce, curry sauce, mushy peas and "chips!" Yum, eat up!
Sarah thought the battered (aka FRIED) sausage was extra yummy and she was rather surprised by the mushy peas as being quite tasty, even though her first thought took her back to all those days of baby-sitting! lol!
Edmund thought "It was good,"
one would have surmised this if they had seen his clean plate at the end of the meal =D
Did Edmund eat the peas? I must know.
ReplyDeleteHe did, he ordered the non-mushy variety but he cleaned his plate. He says they still aren't his favorite vegetable but that he doesn't mind them.
