Household goods, London, Tour de France, and Clouds!

The London Aquarium!

Greetings friends and family! We have been so busy since we moved into our new home trying to get settled into our new schedule and yet not having most of our household goods. However, we were excited to hear that we will be receiving our household goods this coming week, so just a few more days! And actually we are now in a hurry to get our home in tip top shape before our belongings arrive making it more difficult to get things cleaned up. Mainly there are a lot of cob webs and spiders(so many spiders, everywhere!!!!) to clean out but we bought a vacuum and got stocked up with the EcoSense Safer for your Home cleaning products from Melaleuca http://www.melaleuca.com/ProductStore/ProductDetail.aspx?sku=4615 and we are having a good time getting the house ready for our things! Let me know if you want to know about the great products Melaleuca has to offer! Over the long holiday weekend we went to London and met our friends Brian and Steph (and their baby girl!) there and had a great time touring London and then watching the Tour De France with them on Monday afternoon. Here is a link to the google drive folder with all the photos from our trip! https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B6hwpQMizSCqWVJQaVpIMHNsQVE&usp=sharing On another note, Sarah got to drive this week!!!!! Edmund's truck had to have some lights altered to comply with local requirements and so the person who is doing the conversion on the truck loaned us his car which is an automatic! The car is UK spec so the steering wheel is on the right side of the car and it is very interesting driving on the left side of the road but even more interesting is driving on the right side of the car! We got some classic British weather this week with Thursday and Friday being cloudy, drizzly, and cool (in the 50's) all day long and we have started taking extra doses of Vitamin D3! The forecast for this weekend sounds better though with some sun and 70's predicted! With so many things going on it is very easy for us to lose track of our true purpose but we continue to seek out the Lord and ask that He guide us! We give praise and glory to our Lord and Savior for His mercy and grace! We miss all our friends and family and we send our love!

On the London Eye!
Can you see Big Ben in the background, it is now called Elizabeth Tower!

    1. We had a good time but we are even more excited to have our household goods to be able to set up and have a home to come to after our travels! We did go to a church that is really, really close to the house (it's a 3-4 minutes drive!), Sedge Fen Baptist Church, we liked it and we are planning to go back next week as the regular Pastor wasn't there this past week.

  2. Yay we enjoyed checking out London last fall! Good luck getting settled in with your household goods. I always measure the rooms and input to www.floorplanner.com to help me decide where all the furniture should go, worth checking out!
